A: The website migration service provided by Web-Wizards is entirely free and involves moving all your web files, databases and e–mails from your current web hosting provider to your new hosting account with us. We will also fine–tune all the settings necessary for your websites to be completely operational on our state–of–the–art cloud hosting platform.Our techs are completely capable of moving any kind of site. With years of practical experience behind their backs, they’re well–versed in the specificities of our web hosting platform, our Control Panel and all other well–known Control Panels. For them, moving a custom–built app with numerous custom libraries is as elementary as transferring a plain WordPress weblog.

A: There are many factors to take into consideration – the total amount of web files, the physical size of the database, the complexity of the website itself and the current workload of our website migration professionals, etc. Nonetheless, we do our best to accomplish all website migrations within a 48–hour period. Smaller web sites are migrated faster – usually in under 24 hours.

A: We don’t require any information that is sensitive. We’ll need, though, the login information for your current hosting account along with the name of the web site that you would like to migrate.

A: While we move your content, your web hosting provider won’t be aware of the migration at all. We will never contact them in any way.

A: Yep. We support all standard Linux–driven hosting platforms. We don’t support Windows–powered web hosting platforms, since we do not offer Windows web hosting services ourselves.We also do not support proprietary website building and management user interfaces such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
